Car and legend: Senna.

Friends, now i want to talk about one of my idols and examples of life: the legend, Ayrton Senna! 19 years ago he lost the life during the San Marino gran prix on the Autodromo "Enzo e Dino Ferrari". Now I want to celebrate this figure with a video. Good vision!

Today i want to talk about a film that marked my life when i saw it. The Italian title is "Adrenalina blu" while the orginal title is "Michel Vaillant". It talks about the French comic created by French cartoonist Jean Graton. I advise the vision to who loves the 24H hours of Le Mans ,my favourite race. Scipione Borghese

He was born in Migliarino (Ferrara) in 1871. He is important for us trip in the world of cars because he is the protagonist of the book and the hero of this story. 

However , he was famous for a long journey in Asia from Beirut to the Pacific Ocean. Also he was a policitan, in fact he was a deputy of the "Partito Radicale" in the Italian Parlament of 1904 to 1913 and he fought in the First World War. Finally he began the reclamation of "Agro Romano".

Something about the book

A challenge of French journal "Le matin", a impossible venture: in a car, for 15.000 kilometers, from Beijing to Paris. 

Luigi Barzini, journalist of the italian journal "Corriere della Sera", joins at this historical event with the prince Scipione Borghese and the mechanic Ettore Guizzardi. On 10 June 1907 they started from Beijing and after 60 days they crossed the finish line with their "Itala", the real star of the journey. 

Leonardo da Vinci's car

We know that the date of birth of cars is the 19th century with Gottlieb Daimler and Karl Benz. 

However some inventor built a prototype of a car. One of these is Leonardo da Vinci. He built a car with three wheels and it was designed for the noblesse of his time. It moved by a little couple of springs. Now in Florence we can say a new copy of this great invention in the museum of the history of the science.

In this blog I want to talk about some kinds of art too, obviously in the area of cars. 

I decided to begin with music and precisely with my favourite band, the Queen! I choose "I'm in love with my car", piece of the album "A night at the opera",1975,of the English band. The song was written and sung by Roger Taylor,the drummer, and it  is dedicated to his huge passion for the cars.

However in this week I'll begin to introduce the book of Barzini with a first report. Good listening and stay tuned!
